Although Women's Health has been in the news for over a century, it is only recently that we have come to realise that Men suffer considerable morbidity as well as mortality from 'Male Diseases' such as Prostate Cancer, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, Erectile Dysfunction (Impotence), Male Infertility and Testicular Cancer.

Moreover the reluctance of males to seek medical help when they have symptoms (well known examples are Depression , Diabetes and Heart Disease) and to undertake a regular check-up, all contribute to Men having shorter life expectancy and poorer health outcomes when compared to Women.

Suite 101's section on Men's Health will aim to inform and educate readers about this topic in what we believe will be an interesting and entertaining style.
